Pusaram Calculators

About these calculators

Pusaram Calculators is the tools section of Pusaram, a free, privacy-first place to understand money. Each calculator comes with a plain-language guide so you can see what the numbers mean, not only what they are.

How we keep them accurate

Every worked example on a page is produced by the same code as the live calculator, so the example and the tool cannot disagree. We check the code against known results, for example a ₹5,00,000 loan at 10% for 60 months has an EMI of ₹10,624.

What they cannot do

Calculators use the numbers you give them. Tax slabs, GST rates, scheme interest rates and ceilings change, so for those we ask you to type the current figure or we say clearly which figure applied when the tool was written. Returns on investments are guesses, not promises.
