How it works
The scheme has a yearly deposit limit and a fixed lock-in, and its interest is set by the government, so check the current rate and limit on an official source.
This tool simplifies by assuming the full year's deposit goes in at the start of the year. In practice interest is worked on monthly balances, so later deposits earn a little less.
Formula
Each year: balance = (balance + yearly deposit) x (1 + rate / 100).

Under current rules it is tax-free, but rules can change; check the latest.
